これまた古いw 当時のバイト先オブリーク。2日間お休みを取り東京へ撮影に行ったきり、1週間滞在してしまい仕事をクビになったこと。 - ショップリニューアル後の大きな変化：
近くにラブホがあるのでカップルがよく通る。週末夜BAR営業を始めたので、週末の夜遊びができなくなった（その分お店で遊んでる）。その他、水戸駅も近くなって駐車場もあり、買い物だけじゃなくビリヤードしたりコーヒーやお酒を飲みに来てくれる仲間やお客さんも増えた。 - 水戸駅前スケート事情：
まだ切られた人もいない罰金条例ができて通報する正義感の強い大人が増えたと思うが、寝静まった時間からなら…。ローカルたちで大きな問題にならないよう、モラルとローカルルールを守って滑りましょう。水戸の5-0は意外と優しいと思う…。 - ビリヤードの腕前：

In my second year of junior high, I played around with a toy skateboard that belonged to a classmate’s younger brother (who later became the owner of SCAR). I got my own toy board right away and started skating. Later, I discovered American skateboards through magazines, and as a high school entrance gift, I got my first real board—and from there, I was hooked. - Most influential skaters:

Merits: You can enjoy good coffee and drinks inside the shop. There’s a pool table available anytime. The space is bigger than the old shop, with a proper stockroom, making both in-store and online operations smoother. There’s also parking, which is convenient for customers. Demerits: Because there’s a pool table, sometimes I end up prioritizing games with friends over work—so I finish work later. - Current obsession:

Going back a bit here (haha). When I turned 20, I went on my first one-and-a-half-month filming trip to LA with some passionate Tokyo senpai. My camera work was so bad that one of them got furious and punched me—I ended up filming with a nosebleed. A heated memory! But we finished both of their parts and went home as friends. Also, Eric Koston and Guy Mariano, who were around 18 then, sold us a bunch of their decks and Blind pants. - Unreasonable thing that happened at Venice Beach:
While skating along the beach, a Black guy bumped into me, grabbed me by the collar, and looked like he was about to hit me. Luckily, local skaters helped me out—it was chaos (haha). - Videos with favorite soundtracks:

Going back again (haha). I used to work at Oblique. I took two days off to film in Tokyo, ended up staying a week, and got fired. - Biggest change after shop renewal:
There’s a love hotel nearby, so couples pass by often. I also started weekend bar service at night, so I can’t go out drinking—but instead, I hang out at the shop. The new place is closer to Mito Station, has parking, and now friends and customers come not only to shop but also to play pool or have coffee and drinks. - Street skating near Mito Station:
There’s a new fine ordinance, but no one’s been caught yet. Still, there are more “justice warrior” adults who call the cops. Best to skate late at night, respect morals, and follow local rules to avoid trouble. I think the police in Mito are relatively chill… - Billiards skill level:
