There was a guy skating at a park on my way home from elementary school, and I would always stop and watch him. One day he asked, “Wanna try?” Then he rushed home, brought back a board, and gave it to me. That’s how it all started. - About the Chiba skate scene:
Everyone is mellow and peaceful. There are plenty of parks and street spots, so you can skate whatever fits your mood. That’s probably why nobody leaves Chiba (laughs). - A hidden spot in Chiba:
