膝を怪我したこともあったのですが、写真を始める前から目で撮っていました。

Brixtonのロードトリップでの印象的な出来事：
昨年まで3年間はBrixtonでしたが今年からHWYプレゼンツになりました。印象的だったのはトラックの荷台に乗って撮影してたらハイウェイパトロールに怒られてチケットを切られたことです。
影響を受けた写真家：
トビン・イエランド。
最近のやらかし事件：
帰国の際、お墓参りに行った時に墓地にカメラを置き忘れてました。
生きていて良かったと思う瞬間：
毎日。
SFで近藤マロと遭遇した件：
まったく覚えていません。誰でしたっけ？
ここが変だよアメリカ：
長くいすぎてよくわかりませんが物価が高すぎです。

撮影モードになった時は緊張することも忘れてしまいます。
ジュリアン・ストレンジャーについて：
数年一緒に住んで何回もAHのトリップにも連れていってくれました。何がスケートボーダーであるかということを教わりました。レッジのバックサイドリップスライド絶品でした。
アメリカで生きていくということ：
可能性は無限に広がっている。でも自由はタダでは手に入らない。生活を成り立たせ目標を実現するためには、絶えず働き続け、努力し続けなければならない。
久々に感動した日本食：
米。
日本人のプライド：

I injured my knee, but even before I started taking photos, I was already shooting with my eyes.

Most memorable moment on the Brixton road trips:
The tour was with Brixton for the past three years, but this year it's presented by HWY. The most memorable incident was getting pulled over by the CHP and ticketed while filming from the back of a pickup truck.
Most influential photographer:
Tobin Yelland.
Recent mishap:
I accidentally left my camera at a cemetery while visiting my family's grave in Japan.
A moment that makes you glad to be alive:
Every day.
Running into Maro Kondo in SF:
I honestly don't remember. Who was that again?
What's strange about America:
I've been there so long that it's hard to say, but the cost of living is ridiculously high.

Once I'm in shooting mode, I forget to be nervous.
About Julien Stranger:
We lived together for several years, and he took me on countless AH trips. He taught me what it truly means to be a skateboarder. His backside lipslides on ledges were second to none.
What it means to live in America:
Sky's the limit but freedom is not free, having to hustle constantly to make ends meet and achieve goals.
A Japanese food that impressed you recently:
Rice.

Knowing what good rice tastes like.
