Pretty much every shop around my neighborhood is somewhere one of my friends works part-time. - Recommended skate spot in Okinawa:

Goat soup, I guess. It’s definitely an acquired taste, but people who like it really love it. - Okinawan phrase you use a lot:

“Stimulating.” There are so many different crews within Okinawa, and I’m constantly seeing stuff that blows my mind. - A skater your age you’re watching:

Probably when I was doing a homestay in Australia. I had to move out the next day and still hadn’t found my next place to live. I can laugh about it now, but it was pretty rough at the time (Laughs). - Skater who influenced you:

You get to experience Okinawa’s unique atmosphere through the perspective of skateboarding. Also, I think it gets even more interesting if you stop looking at the skaters as people who are “searching for spots” and start seeing them as people who are “creating spots.” - Behind-the-scenes story from filming your part:
We started filming four months before I left Japan to study abroad. I somehow managed to get the clips I needed and finish it just in time. - Favorite rapper:
