スケートを始めた年：
たしか初めてデッキを買ってもらったのが2003年だったと思う。
スケートを始めたきっかけ：
近所の子がボロいMongooseのスケートボードを持っていて、それを1年くらい乗り回してた。その後、自分のボードを手に入れた。少し離れた親戚が当時、地元から数町先でスケートショップをやっていて、父親に連れて行ってもらって初めて買ってもらったのが、Alien Workshopのジェイソン・ディルのデッキだった。
地元自慢：
完璧なミニランプがあったこと（RIP）。
地元の治安：
基本的には安全。シカゴは地域ごとの分断があって、メディアで伝えられるような暴力的なイメージとは実際かなり違う。つねに周りに気を配って、ちゃんと判断して行動すれば問題ない場所。
地元のレジェンド：
ステフェン・ワッツ。
シカゴのスケートレジェンド：
ジェシー・ニューハウス。
好きなスケーター：
ティム・オコナー。
最も影響を受けたスケーター：
難しい質問だけど、ひとりだけを挙げることはできないかな。
現在一番アツいと思うスケーター：
今でも映像を撮り続けていて、本気でスケートに向き合っている仲間みんな。
歴代ベストパート：
ありすぎて選べない。最近はニック・ステインの最新のHockeyパートを観てかなり刺激を受けてる。
自分のベストパート：
自分では『Static』が一番好き。
Studioの魅力：
カナダらしいホスピタリティと、チームのあらゆることに自分も深く関われるところ。ジャイはチーム全員の意見をかなり尊重してくれる。
お気に入りのNew Balance Numericモデル：
間違いなく480 High。とにかく長持ちする。同じ一足を1年以上履き続けてるけど、まだ全然調子がいい。
ストリートで一番うれしかったこと：
1時間以内にトリックをメイクできたこと。自分にはかなり珍しいから。
最近一番変わったこと：
セッションやトリックのバトルをやると、毎回身体が痛くなるようになった。
マイルール：
難しくないなら、映像に残す価値はない。
苦手なこと：
全力を出し切らないこと。
恐れていること：
現状に満足してしまうことと、時間を無駄にすること。
黒歴史：
大人数をスポットまで連れて行ったのに、結局メイクできなかったこと。
最後の懺悔：
ビデオパートを出すたびに、「これが最後だ」って自分に言い聞かせてる。
料理を始めたきっかけ：
子どもの頃から母親が家で料理している姿を見て育ったこと。高校時代には数年間、地元の大学で料理を学ぶプログラムに参加していて、半日はそこで調理の授業を受けていた。
ニューヨークのおすすめレストラン：
Cozy Royale、Spicy Village、Frankies 457。
好きなハイボールのブランド：
サントリー。でも、日本で飲めなかったもっといいハイボールもあると思うから、また来日していろいろ試してみたい。
二度とやりたくないこと：
まずいものを食べること。
おすすめのNetflixシリーズ：
Criterion Channelの作品。
知っている日本語：
残念ながらあまり知らない。変なことを言って恥をかきたくないし（笑）。
仕事のボス（ジョシュ・ウィルソン）について：
最高のボス。ものすごく働き者で、スケートトリップが必要なときはいつも快く送り出してくれる。
これまでの人生で一番幸せだった瞬間：
20代をシカゴで過ごして、ちゃんと社会人としてやっていけるようになったこと。
50歳の自分のイメージ：
庭にミニランプを作って、仲間の誰よりもうまく滑っていたい。
感謝を伝えたい人：
多すぎて挙げきれないけど、自分を成長させてくれて、ずっと支えてくれたすべての人たち。

Year you started skateboarding:
I believe I got my first board in 2003.
What got you into skateboarding:
My neighbor had a shitty Mongoose skateboard I rode around for maybe a year before getting my own board. A distant cousin of mine owned a skate shop at the time a few towns over from where I grew up. I went in and my Dad got me my first board, a Dill Alien Workshop.
The best thing about your hometown:
Perfect mini ramp (RIP).
Safety level of your hometown:
Safe for the most part. Chicago is segregated and feels very different from the violence portrayed in the media. Always use your best judgement and be aware of your surroundings, and you’ll be fine here.

Favorite skater:
Tim O’Connor.
Skater who influenced you the most:
Tough question, but I’m not sure one single skater influenced me the most.
The skater you're most hyped on right now:
Any friends that still film and got skin in the game.
Best video part of all time:
Too many come to mind. Lately I’ve been watching Nik Stain’s newest Hockey part and getting really hyped.
Your best video part:
Static is my favorite part of mine.
What makes Studio special:
Canadian hospitality and getting to have a large say in everything. Jai is super receptive to everyone on the team’s opinions.
Your favorite New Balance Numeric shoe:
480 High for sure. They last so long. I’ve been skating one pair on and off for over a year and they’re still great.
The best thing that's ever happened to you in the streets:
Landing tricks in less than an hour, which is rare for me.
What's changed the most recently:
My body is always sore after a full session or a trick battle.
A personal rule you always live by:
If it’s not difficult it’s not worth filming.
Pet peeve:
Not giving it everything you got.
Biggest fear:
Complacency and not using time wisely.
Your biggest cringe moment:
Dragging a big squad to a spot and not landing it.
One last confession:
Every time I put out a video part, I tell myself it’ll be my last.
How you got into cooking:
Seeing my Mom cook around the house at an early age. When I was in high school, I took a program for a couple years where I spent half my day at a local college taking culinary classes.
Recommended restaurants in New York:
Cozy Royale, Spicy Village, Frankies 457.
Favorite highball brand:
Suntory, but I know there are higher quality ones I didn’t try while in Japan that I look forward to coming back for.
Something you never want to do again:
Eat bad food.

Great boss, hard working beast, always lets me go on skate trips when necessary.

My 20s living in Chicago and becoming a functioning member of society.

Mini ramp in the backyard that I skate better than any of my friends.
